Reel Impact: Crafting Videos that Spark Imagination and Change
As a seasoned communicator, my professional video projects for the Red Cross and the World Food Programme have always been a source of immense pride. Each project provides an opportunity to shine a spotlight on pressing global issues while employing innovative techniques to engage and inspire audiences. I often utilize special effects and animations to add an extra layer of intrigue and make each story more compelling. On the other hand, personal projects have been a fertile ground for experimentation and refining my storytelling skills. By interweaving the skills honed through these personal endeavors with my professional expertise, I have succeeded in creating captivating narratives that resonate deeply and inspire action.

Solar-Powered Irrigation: Rwanda's Rural Women
I produced this video to showcase the work of the Joint Programme 'Accelerating Progress Towards Rural Women's Economic Empowerment' (JP RWEE) in Ngoma district, Eastern Rwanda. By establishing solar-powered irrigation systems in the most affected sectors, the programme helps tackle climatic challenges and improve women’s livelihoods. Red Cross Mobile Testing units in Europe
In my role as Communications Coordinator for a significant project by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), I crafted a video spotlighting the efforts of seven National Red Cross Societies to scale up COVID-19 testing across Europe, I captured compelling footage from Austria, Germany, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, and Spain, and conducted insightful interviews to showcase the resilience and commitment of these societies in their critical battle against the pandemic.

Personal Projects
Embracing Solitude: A Pandemic Routine
In May 2020, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself living alone, navigating through the new normal and adapting to a daily routine. Instead of dwelling on the anxiety and loss of control, I chose to cherish and enjoy the solitude that came with spending time with myself. Despite its simplicity and short duration, this personal project stands as one of my proudest achievements, proving that all it takes is passion and ingenuity to create impactful videography.
A Halloween Passion Project
As a fan of the band Pinc Louds, I felt inspired to create a video for their latest song Spellbound while spending Halloween in quarantine in autumn of 2020. Using my Sony Alpha 7 II camera and improvising with household items, I filmed various scenes and experimented with fairy lights and a diffuser for lighting effects. In post-production, I dabbled in special effects like levitation and rotoscoping using After Effects.
Barbados Nostalgia
During my trip to Barbados, I wanted to capture the essence of the experience in a nostalgic and unique way. So, I decided to create a video that simulates the look and feel of a Super-8 camera, harking back to the days of vintage film. The resulting footage showcases the beauty of Barbados while evoking a sense of nostalgia, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in the warm memories of the past. The Super-8 effect added a distinctive charm to the scenes, giving them a timeless quality that I believe truly encapsulates the spirit of my adventure in Barbados.
